The purpose of this blog is to showcase my video project documenting protests for racial justice that surged upon the murder of George Floyd in the summer of 2020. The video also features snippets of the subsequent responses of the 2020 Presidential Candidates, followed by critique of their responses in relation to larger issues of racial justice. In addition, my project seeks to shed light on the emotional trauma of police brutality on African Americans, and proposed solutions.
